Tori Kelly, Busta Rhymes, Babyface, and Yolanda Adams honor Mariah Carey with performances of her incredible hits at The Grammys

Mariah Carey was presented with the Global Impact award tonight at The Grammys by The Black Music Collective along with super-star Lenny Kravitz. And the performances that honored Mariah really brought the house down.

Tori Kelly gave a beautiful rendition of the songbird surpreme’s fist #1 hit record, “Vision Of Love.” We have yet to get any official recordings of her performance but we found a snippet and well add more videos, and preferably the full performance as we find them.

Busta Rhymes came to the stage to perform a medley, in which he teased a snippet of Mariah’s famous collaboration “I Know What You Want.”

Babyface gave a beautifully nostalgic acoustic performance of his collaboration with Mariah, “Every Time I Close My Eyes,” and “When You Believe,” which he wrote as a duet for Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey for The Prince Of Egypt Soundtrack in 1998.

Yolanda Adams got the audience up on their feet with a performance of Mariah’s 1991 hit, “Make It Happen.” The already deeply gospel influenced song got a boost from Yolanda’s take on the personal docu-song.
