TikTok : Mariah’s Catalog makes a return to TikTok

Earlier this year, the social media platform TikTok had removed a huge portion of musical artist’s catalogs due to an unresolved dispute with Universal Music Group. This affected many artists, one of which being Mariah Carey. TikTok has been especially beneficial to Mariah as of late, as she is definitely the artist with the most resurgence on the platform, having multiple songs go viral regularly.

After UMG removed the artist’s catalogs, the only thing left from Mariah were her cover songs. But thankfully as of May 14th, the superstar has made a full return to the platform with her entire catalog re-uploaded.
