Sony Music Japan Exclusive Music Box Limited Collector’s Set

Sony Music Japan has announced a new CD & DVD re-release of Music Box for the new year. The release set for February 23rd, 2024 will include exclusive remastered content for the album’s 30th anniversary and is available as a first come first serve limited release.

To commemorate Music Box’s 30th anniversary, This diamond album will be released with a 3 CD + 1 DVD 4 disc collectors set. The first CD being the original album with remastered audio (done in 2020), The second disc containing a special remix and other “rare sound sources”, and CD three being an exclusive live release of Mariah Carey’s 1993 concert at Proctors Theatre. The DVD will be a blend of special interviews from the Music Box era, 4 music videos, and a live video of Hero from Carey’s 1996 concert at the Tokyo Dome. Also enclosed in this new collector set is a luxurious booklet using a lot of “valuable and rare” photos.
