Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame : Mariah to not be inducted

After a fierce three months of voting, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced their list of 2024 inductees and sadly Mariah Carey will not be receiving the achievement this year. Despite rumors that she and fellow music icon Lenny Kravitz would be inducted this year, it seems like the board has decided to hold off on their acknowledgment. Mariah’s fan votes for the achievement were consistently in the top 10 of musical acts, but there are also a handful of inductees this year that weren’t included in the voting poll and still made their way into the Hall of Fame. It is unclear how much the voting polls impacted the selection but it definitely wasn’t the only way they were deciding on who would get awarded the honor. Hopefully Mariah will get her acknowledgment and entry to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame sooner rather than later as she’s been eligible since 2015.
