They caught up with songbird directly after her Las Vegas Residency for The Celebration of Mimi, and the star put her 500 hours of beauty school to good use while also dropping song lyrics in her pep talk. The NBA loves Mariah as this is definitely not her first ad or collaborative effort with the league. She performed for Michael Jordan’s All-Star game in 2003 and had a handful of Christmas commercials starring NBA stars like Lebron James in 2009. And how could we forget the time “the palace has found her queen” in 1990 after Mariah performed her first televised performance with America The Beautiful.
