Merry Christmas One and All! Mini-Doc

The Merry Christmas One and All! Mini-Documentary premiered this morning at 7am PST on Mariah Carey’s official YouTube channel. The majority of the footage seems to be from the first two California shows at the Hollywood Bowl, and the first stop at Madison Square Garden in New York. In this documentary we get a glimpse into how our Queen of Christmas amplifies her holiday spirit pon de stage and the team that helps bring it to its most festive light.

Debby Allen, most famously known for her work in the original Fame, is deeply loved in the Lambily for her amazing choreography work with Mariah through the years. Mariah has shared her love and comfortability with Debby Allen many times over the years, and that combined with her iconic work, it was a no brainer for them to work together again. Mariah shared, “Working with Debby Allen is amazing, she is legendary and well versed in all things you need to know to put on a production!

Stylist, Wilfredo Rosado spoke about the inspirations behind this years design choices, “The inspiration behind the show was really born obviously from MC’s music and her connection to fashion or things that we’ve done in the past. And also I think the idea was to connect a lot of different aspects of design. Ya’know wardrobe and fashion

Mariah shared her love of Production Designer Rohit Kapoor saying, “I love working with Rohit. He came up with many different backdrops. One thing I am mad at him for though is that we don’t have enough snow!” She then effortlessly sings her classic line, “I wont even wish for snow

Shen then spoke about having Monroe and Moroccan play a bigger part of the show this year, “It’s very exciting for me to have Roc and Roe involved in the production. They are going to be having a lot of fun. Roccy is playing the drums, he’s rapping. Roe is singing, and I just really think a lot of the kid dancers are fun and really into the moment.”

Tiadora Rivera one of the new choreography assistants spoke about her experience of being brought on with fellow choreography assistant Adrian Wiltshire, and Creative Director & Choreographer Fatima Robinson, saying, “Using the dynamic that us three bring coming from the Hip-Hop world and bringing it to a Christmas show has been really fun and joyful. And bringing to life songs that are so timeless.

Mariah ended the Mini-Doc on a message to the Lambily, “To the Lambs, I love you more than anything. And I cant I thank you enough for coming out to the shows and for your energy and your light. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”
