Mariah wished Da Brat a Happy Birthday with an un-released song

Rap superstar Da Brat, Mariah Carey’s close personal friend and frequent collaborator, celebrated her birthday with her Dish Nation cast members who surprised her with celebratory video messages from her friends. One of these special messages was from Mariah herself. In the video introduced by Tamar Braxton, Carey performs a snippet of an unreleased song that her and Da Brat had collaborated on but never finished.

She sings, “i can’t let you leave / but you can’t stay / another day with me is driving me crazy / cuz you’re making me sad every minute / cry every second / why should I / why should I keep hanging on “

Da Brat joined in to sing the song before Mariah began to explain that LT Hutten lost their song together, and then calls him to action to find the lost song. She then went on to wish Da Brat a very happy birthday.
