Lil Nas X teases new Music Video with a Mariah impersonator

This Wednesday, January 10th, the rapper Lil Nas X released a short twenty second teaser video in anticipation for his single “J CHRIST” which comes out this Friday. In the new teaser, there are a bunch of noticeably famous faces, well their look-a-like doubles who are walking up to the gates of heaven. We see a Kanye West look-a-like, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and the Queen herself Mariah Carey. It seems to be the famous drag queen Mariah Carey Carrie playing the roll of the songbird supreme. Lil Nas X also made a TikTok with the drag performer a couple weeks back as well, which could have definitely been the first hint at this moment. We currently don’t have any more details on the song or the video, however it’s nice to see Mariah constantly be a part of pop culture moments.
