Heartbreaker Gets New RIAA Certification

Mariah Carey’s 1999 #1 hit record Heartbreaker has officially been certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA for selling 2 million copies. It was last certified as platinum in 2019, meaning that the single has sold over a million copies in four years ; more than it did from its original release to its 2019 certification. This RIAA update comes along with the release of Mariah’s album Rainbow, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
