The Fresh Air Fund Celebrates 30th Anniversary by Honoring Mariah Carey

The Fresh Air Fund, home of the famous Camp Mariah, celebrated their 30th anniversary of their foundation with the Fresh Air Spring Benefit on May 16th, 2024. The honor is in celebration of Mariah’s Camp Mariah in particular with the Honoring Ceremony In New York City at 6:30 pm. Hero Benefactor Mariah Carey accepted the award on behalf of the camp for her continued efforts over the past 30 years.

Mariah was welcomed on the stage with a tap-dance performance by The Syncopated Ladies and then introduced by host for the evening, June Ambrose. The benefit raised over $1.7 million dollars for the Fresh Air Fund from the gala. The celebration continued with smores and specialized “Mimi” cocktails for the guests and camp alumni.

Mariah Carey took to her social media on May 17th to shares some photos from the gala as well as comment on the benefit,

“Thank you so much to all the incredibly kind partners and donors at last night’s Fresh Air Fund spring benefit, helping raise more than $1.9 MILLION for the organization. We celebrated 30 years of Camp Mariah, and I'm truly grateful to have been given the chance to work with an organization that is providing guidance and opportunities for so many young people.”
