Billboard Hot 100 : Mariah sitting comfortable at #1

Mariah Carey extends her record for the artists with most total weeks at #1 on The Billboard Hot 100 to 93 weeks, with All I Want For Christmas Is You sitting at the top of the chart for the third week this year. This is the second time this holiday season that the song has hit the top spot, however the festive classic was the first number one song of the year. If lambs keep up the streaming and buying, All I Want For Christmas Is You could be the first #1 song of the new year (again!). This being the song’s 14th at the top spot, Mariah Carey now becomes the only artist with 3 or more songs that have spent 14 weeks at #1. Tying with We Belong Together.
