Billboard Hot 100: All I Want For Christmas is You Back to #1

Mariah Carey makes her annual return to the #1 spot of The Billboard Hot 100 with her song “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

the song has been at #2 for the past two weeks after a quick climb to the top 10 in November. This week the song has finally surpassed Brenda Lee’s “Rocking Around The Christmas Tree” with Mariah’s song gaining 324 points on the chart. This makes this chart run Mariah’s 5th year in a row at Number 1 with “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and the 13th week at the top position (63 weeks total)! She has extended her amount of weeks at #1 to 92 weeks!

The song also becomes the longest running number one song in history on the global 200 with 16 weeks, Tie-ing with Olivia Rodrigo. Mariah Carey also becomes the first solo artist to have three songs spend at least 13 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
